Comfort Hotel Wakayama

Very convinient location, clean room, friendly staff.

Property locate near the train station. a convenience store and restaurant are nearby .All you can eat Breakfast is good.property provide coin laundry , vending machine and ice machine.

A very convenient location!

The pillow is too thin…. A thicker pillow or two pillows per guest would be nice!

Breakfast was awesome, especially the scrambled eggs. hats off to the chef and staff preparing the food. The hotel is near to Wakayama Station and nearby got malls, kobini (7e & lawson).

Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location to the JR station, restaurants, and shopping.

Odor in the bathroom. The room is tight.

Near the train station. Clean and quiet. Staffs are very nice and helpful.Good breakfast. Room is not big but enough. They provide a microwave oven in the lobby.

The supermarket nearby close early, so if need to go early to buy bento for dinner if you want. But this is not the hotel’s fault.

It is what to expect from Comfort Hotels. Always clean and comfortable. Staff always courteous, attentative and efficient. Comp breakfast usually nutritious and delicious. They are a solid, affordable 3 star hotel. Exactly what I prefer.

Only because this is Japan, a public bath would be nice. Really, I had no complaints.

Very new hotel, cleanliness. Friendly staff.Very close to the train station.Excellent value for money!

I am from Hong Kong, stayed night. Location is good, clean and tidy with breakfast. Room is big enough. Recommend.

It was the prime location! The breakfast was good. There was coffee/tea available in the lobby. The staff were very helpful. They kept our luggage for free even after we checked out until our departure time. There was staff available 24/7. Self check-in and check-out machines were fun to use and worked seamlessly. There were very pretty sunsets visible from our 10th floor room. We were satisfied with our stay.

This is maybe not a negative point, but every day towels and one time use disposable amenities were provided. We felt like these weren't necessary.

Near the stationRoom is bigger than averageBreakfast was superb

I loved the location - it was so near to JR Wakayama Station as indicated in what I have read prior to booking this hotel. It made catching the train to my next destination very easy and stress-free. The bus terminal is just outside the station and it was easy to get around. The breakfast provided by the hotel was generous and balanced. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the room size and the beddings are very comfortable!

I am very satisfied with this hotel.

Generally, their library café looks beautiful where breakfast was served. The meal was great and there were healthy options. The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, so the single room met my expectations.

Library café might be small when breakfast is served. It became too crowded.

Enjoyed your stay, staff were excellent. Great value for your money.

Ease access to the train and bus station. Enjoyed the breakfasts.

Great location near the station. Room was small, but clean and comfortable.

I owe the staff a great deal for their help in sending over the stuff I left in the safe to Nagoya at the hotel I was staying at. Thank you very much. Also, they approved my request for an additional pillow since the pillow in the room had a low profile.Comfort Inn is another great business hotel. This one is located right next to Wakayama Station with well-laid out rooms and delicious buffet breakfast. Bed, pillows, and linen were comfortable and smelled clean. They segregate general trash and bottles. The table is quite wide and the chair is comfortable to use.Kintetsu department store is a neighbor so getting dinner at its depachika is a wonderful thing. Attractions can be reached via rail or bus from Wakayama Station.

Toilet and bath drain has residual smell which can be diffused by running the fan continuously.

Really close to the station Free breakfast Attentive staff

I like the common area (or hotel lobby), where we have a breakfast or take a rest. It has a small library with free drinks. The library seems to be professionally curated to collect books related to Wakayama. Mostly Japanese books, but some English ones too. It ranges from children's picture books, manga, to Wakayama-born authors' literature, history, nature, animals (like Panda bears). Even after check-out, we could spend a relaxing waiting time for the train in this area.

Great location: <5mins walk from Wakayama stationEnjoyed the small reading area with self serve drinks in the eveningBreakfast had huge variety, was healthy and very tastyReally appreciate the help of front desk staff with luggage forwarding
